IT'S FREAKY, I KNOW

There are more than 8,000 different types of ants in the world.  Most of them live in huge colonies in hot, tropical countries.  One colony might have as many as 200,000 ants in it but only one egg laying queen.

You can draw a line nearly 15 miles long with one ordinary pencil.  The lead in a pencil is not made of lead .  It is a mixture of clay and the black mineral, graphite.

When the first railroads were built in Europe, more than 150 years ago, experts thought that human beings could not travel faster than 20mph.  The theory was that at speeds over that, their bodies would explode!
